Claudio Merkier Dr Claudio Merkier graduated in 1997 from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, he qualified in 2004 as a Certified Extremity Chiropractic Practitioner from the Council of Extremity Adjusting and in 2007 he was awarded with the International Chiropractic Sport Science Diploma from the International Federation of Sport Chiropractic. He has a special interest in the management of back pain, sport injuries and sport performance. He is one of the Directors of the College of Chiropractors and the North West Thames Faculty Chairman and a member of the Sport and Exercise Faculty. He is a member of the British Chiropractic Sports Council, the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic and the European Chiropractors Union. Dr Claudio Merkier is an Approved Healthcare Provider for BUPA, PPP/AXA, Norwich Union, Std. Life, WPA and other major Health Insurances. Dr Claudio Merkier has been working in Borehamwood since 1999, offering his services to the local community and businesses. He has very good cooperation and referrals from the local medical professionals. He has been working with the British Masters Medical Services that provide care at major national and international championships for GB Masters Athletics Track and Field Teams and he has been the official chiropractor for the Borehamwood Rugby Football Club. Prior to become a Chiropractor, he was awarded a Bachelor of Education degree in 1991 in Physical Education and Postural Cultivation From the Zinman College at the Wingate Institute of Physical Education and Sports.
